Program Director- Dr. Anchita Venkatesh, DMD
Dr. Anchita Venkatesh is a highly accomplished dentist with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field. She graduated from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. After relocating to the United States, she completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and then went on to receive her certificate of General Practice residency from the Yale New Haven Health Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine. She then completed her Master of Science in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Venkatesh is currently the Program Director for the General Practice Residency at the Alameda Health System, Highland Hospital where she performs complete dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia and focuses her practice to Orofacial pain and serve patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) . She has been recognized by the ADA as top 10 under 10, as a Top 40 Under 40 Dentist in America by incisal edge and received the Outstanding Clinician of the Year in 2021.
Dr. Venkatesh has a strong commitment to improving access to dental care for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Her practice is focused on providing specialized care and addressing the unique needs of these individuals, aiming to enhance their overall oral health and well-being
Chief/Chair Dentistry- Dr. Charmaine Ng, DMD
Dr. Charmaine Ng is a bay area native and has over 12 years of experience in working in the public health sector. She is currently employed as Chief Chair of Dentistry where she oversees adult dental services at Highland Hospital (the only trauma level 1 hospital in the East Bay Area) and pediatric dental services at Eastmont Wellness Center.
Dr. Ng is an advocate for underserved patients and has a deep understanding of the challenges and inequities that this demographic faces. She is committed to addressing barriers to care and increasing access to quality, comprehensive dental care for all. Dr. Ng has experience in creating integrated healthcare programs with pediatrics, diabetic patients and substance use disorder.
She is a graduate of A.T. Still's University's Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and is a Northern California Board member of the American College of Dentists. Dr. Ng has been honored with the 2019 "Women to Watch" award from the Lucy Hobbs Project and top “40 Under 40” dentists of 2020 in the county by Incisal Edge Magazine.
Lead Pediatric Dentist | Eastmont Wellness Center - Dr. Sean Silvero, DDS
Dr. Sean was raised in Los Angeles, CA and moved to San Francisco for dental school at UCSF in 2012. After graduating from dental school, he completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Palo Alto at Ravenswood Family Health Center and went on to complete his pediatric dental residency in New York City at Montefiore Medical Center. After completing his training, he returned back to the bay and currently lives in San Francisco with his husband. On his free time, you’ll find him playing video games, going for long walks, and trying out new restaurants in the city.

Prosthodontist - Dr. Narihide Kanayama, DMD
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in general dentistry, Dr. Kanayama further received training at Tufts University for general practice residency and at the University of Pittsburgh for prosthodontics.
He taught restorative dentistry and prosthodontics at the UCSF and the University of Pacific. He currently works at Highland Hospital Dental Clinic and La Clinica Vallejo Dental Clinic.
General Dentist Faculty- Dr. Joshwin Hall, DDS
Dr. Joshwin Hall completed his dental training at Howard University College of Dentistry and furthered his education by completing a General Practice Residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City. After completing his residency, Dr. Hall returned to the San Francisco Bay Area, his hometown, to fulfill a lifelong aspiration of serving in Public Health, particularly within underserved communities like the one where he grew up. Over his career, Dr. Hall established a non-profit dental clinic, spearheaded a mobile van program, and conducted extensive outreach efforts to engage with the community and provide essential patient education and care.
Dr. Hall’s professional interests lie in delivering comprehensive, high-quality dental care, emphasizing dental prevention, and prioritizing patient education. His primary focus is on serving underserved and homeless communities, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact in areas with the greatest need.

General Dentist Faculty Dr. Le, MPH, DMD
Dr. Curtis Le is Northern California born and raised working in the public health sector. Dr. Le graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a B.S in winemaking, and is also a fellow alumn of the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. After completing dental school, Dr. Le pursued additional training via an AEGD residency at UCSF prior to obtaining a Masters of Public Health.

Having grown up surrounded by community health physicians and dentists since early childhood, Dr. Le has been volunteering in and advocating for improved public health for the last two decades, with hopefully more to come.

More than just clinical skills or pure didactic knowledge, Dr. Le likes to emphasize patient-first dentistry and ways of thinking about the philosophy of dentistry and healthcare as a whole.
Endodontist Dr. Min, MSD, DMD
Dr Aye Min received his DMD from University of Connecticut. He served in the US Army Dental Corp for 6 years as a general dentist. Received his MSD and Postdoctoral Certificate in Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics from Indiana University, and a Postdoctoral Certificate in Endodontics from USC.

Dr. Min is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He has been a faculty member teaching endodontics at UCSF School of Dentistry.

Dr. Min is an active member of American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Napa Solano Dental Society, The John F. Johnston Society, and Northern California Association of Endodontics.
